Allow me to introduce Eric, Ethelthread and the print machines that I use:
Eric is my original and best Brother PR650, a 6 needle, single-head, semi-industrial embroidery machine. Eric can handle up to six thread colours, is very reliable and produces very precise results.
Ethelthread is a Happy 7 needle single head professional embroidery machine and has become the workhorse of my embroidery operation.
Harry Hotplate is a large heat press, and is used for both Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) and for Direct Film (DTF) print processes.
The HTV process is used for 1-3 colour, simple or solid designs e.g the back of a hi-vis vest. I do this in-house, cutting and applying the vinyl to my pieces. Kevin the Cameo is the Vinyl cutter used to produce the cut HTV.
DTF print is used for more complex/ multi-coloured logos. These print transfers can produce graduated and shaded designs. I work with a local company to produce the print transfers and once printed, the handle of the fabric tends to be softer than with HTV.
Digitisation is the process that takes your logo and translates it into stitches and thread. I usually use a professional digitiser for this.
To produce your logo or design in print I will need a vector file. If you don’t have a vector file or if your file resolution is too low, I can redraw them accurately for a small charge to a specification that can be correctly manipulated to produce excellent print quality.
I will only work with logos that I have permission from the owner to use.
